James Nothof, the youngest of the three (3) Nothof 2nd generation at Robica, to our disappointment, has decided to not accept re-assignment within Robica, which was intended to further broaden his business experience & skills for succession purposes.
In a surprise move, James has resigned after over 20 years in various positions at Robica, the most recent as London Service Center Branch Manager. Reluctant to accept the resignation, there has been much discussion and mediation but to no avail.
To our further disappointment James has now accepted a position with a company setting up in Ontario as a competitor to Robica in the propane tanker segment.
The Nothof family and everyone at Robica sincerely wish James and his family future success, but truthfully, just not success as a competitor.
Consequently, we want to assure all our customers that Robica will continue to provide the same or a higher level of quality and service, which you have received in the past. We will continue to be the “King” of tankers in this area.
In view of the above, Robica has decided to focus on enhancing the level of service in our London location so we are pleased to announce that Derrick Brommersma has been appointed the Acting London Branch Manager. He brings with him over 23 years of Tanker Truck and Trailer experience in Service, Manufacturing and Engineering.
His background includes Management positions at: Kroehnert Manufacturing, Milton, ON, Remcor/LBT, Manning, SC, Universal Handling Equipment, Hamilton, ON, Beall Corporation: Turlock CA, and Transcourt Inc, Oakville, ON.
Derrick’s previous position at Robica has been Manager of Tanker Manufacturing at the St Marys facility. He has learnt and adopted the Robica core value of “Get- R-Done” & “Do It Right....The First Time”
We thank you in advance for your co-operation in working with Derrick in his new position
